5 Smart Ways to Organize Jewelry and Makeup

Every woman knows what’s the worth of their jewelry and make-up and how it feels if any of the items get damaged because of mismanagement of these items. And also the pain of not getting able to find some make-up item is real and worrisome. What if you are in a hurry and your lazy jewelry set is badly tangled.

To say it honestly, it’s in fact your own laziness if you don’t spare a small amount of time to keep things organized and later it makes you deal with the anxiety of not smoothly accomplishing your tasks and delay in your expected timeline that you made in your mind. And you later have to pay the price of it because of all the mismanagement it will cause.

1.       Categorize your items

One other way to nicely organize your stuff is to categorize different things. Keep items of each category at the same place. This thing will not only make it easy for you to find things while looking for them but also will help in making choices by finding each alike item together. For example, it would be easier for you to choose from your all set of earrings placed together rather than shuffled and tucked at different places.

While dividing your items into different category you can divide them by application for example place all the bangles together. You can further subcategorize like putting all shades of red together in the lip color category.

2.       Spare some drawer

Finding an appropriate place for your jewelry and make-up is really crucial. You need to find a fixed drawer in your cupboard or some container solely dedicated to holding these items. Especially for jewelry, it’s very important that it should not be subjected to moisture. Even slight moisture in the air can fade or decolorize your jewelry.

If you can’t spare any drawer solely for this purpose then find any container in which you can safely place your jewelry.  You can find various unused jars, stackable trays, some items for hanging purposes, and so on, you can use all of them in a decent manner for managing your stuff. Always put the lid on the container to keep them dust-free. If you have lost its lid you can make a lid by yourself that would nicely fit on your container.

 3.        Use hanging hoops

Using vertical space intelligently will enable you to store a lot of items in minimal space. It will also help in keeping things untangled. It’s not just applied for your clothes that hanging makes it well organized but is applicable for jewelry as well. This thing also helps in picking the things at a glance and saves your time. You can use the wall of your room and build home-made shelves or racks on the wall where u can place such items that you use in your daily routine. So that they will be readily available and you won’t find the need to go through your cupboard to get to those items.

4.       Place Lipsticks and lip glosses in glass or jars

Use elongated cylindrical glass jars or simple glass for placing your lip colors. The benefit of using glass is that since it’s transparent you can easily choose the color and take that specific color out of the jar instead of taking out the whole range.

5.       Place brushes in goggle’s case

One other idea can be to put make-up brushes inside some sealed casings. As we need to keep the brush out from the reach of dust and other particles in the air, we should keep brushes in sealed containers. For this, our glass cases can be perfect because of the size of those cases and also because it will keep brushes clean and organized.

So just by simple tricks and tips, you can place your stuff in a nice orderly manner that would be available on the go and would look much neat and tidy.
