One of the many questions that I have read is skincare fridge necessary?
If you don’t want your skincare and makeup products to smell like meat and eggs, then yes skincare fridge is necessary. But many people will tell you, hey, skincare fridges are just marketing gimmicks. However, there are always two sides to any product. While others focus on one side and then suggest, we focus on both sides and then answer the question, is skincare fridge necessary?
Most of the people put an argument stating that skincare fridges have not undergone enough trial for now, which makes them risky. Also, if they are safe for skincare and makeup products.
However, if one looks at the bigger picture, makeup and skincare fridges are just small-scale fridges that use the same technology as your normal fridge.
Therefore, there wasn’t a need for enough trials or testing. They were tested enough to be used in close proximity. Since most skincare fridges are also used as traveling fridges, there wasn’t much requirement for trials and testing.
Another argument that people put forward is that not all skincare products require being put inside the fridge or kept cold. However, if cooled to a certain temperature, many products can produce better results, for instance, sheet masks or face creams.
Since most people have sensitive skin having a skincare fridge to carry around can make their skincare routine easier to manage.
Well, many people do state that they can use their normal fridge to keep their skincare products, but the reality is the smell from food, and other items in the fridge can cause them to smell bad. This further leads to the product going bad before the expiration.
Since your home fridge is used by everyone in the house, the constant touching on the products can cause germ and bacteria to build upon the products, which is not safe for someone with sensitive skin.
No, it is not expensive if you see the benefits exceeding the cons. The skincare fridges can be carried around anywhere. Also, they keep your skincare products from the constant touching of other people. In fact, it makes your skincare worth it in the long run.
Given the prices of around 60 to 150 dollars of a skincare fridge, you get to have a better skincare routine. Even if you are late at night, a skincare fridge right next to your bed makes it easier for you to do the routine.
Now is it necessary to have a skincare fridge?
With the need for a better skincare routine, yes, a skincare fridge is necessary and totally worth it. As many skin experts call it a luxury, I call it a perfect investment for your healthier and glowing skin!
